Dental Implants

Replace your missing tooth with a dental implant for a functional bite, a healthier body, and a beautiful smile!

Having a missing tooth can feel uncomfortable, affect your speech, look unsightly, and cause oral health issues later in life. An implant is an artificial tooth root placed in your jawbone to hold a replacement tooth, bridge, or denture. Dental implants feel natural and do not rely on neighbouring teeth for support.

  • Holds dentures in place more effectively
  • Increased comfort
  • Improved bite
  • Looks and feels natural

Will it hurt to install my dental implant?

The treatments itself is virtually painless. However, in the days to follow you may experience some light discomfort. After approximately a week your implant should not feel uncomfortable.

What do I have to do following the procedure?

Dr. Gill will provide you with a set of instructions specific to your treatment. Please follow them closely to ensure the risk of complications is reduced. A brief list of things you can expect includes: getting rest, managing swelling, cleaning your mouth, restricting your diet, keeping an eye on the affected area to make sure nothing out of the ordinary is occurring.

Will my insurance cover the cost of the procedure?

Most insurance companies don’t cover the cost of the implant, but do cover a portion of the crown that  caps the implant. For more detail on your coverage please call your service provider.
