Root Canal Therapy

Keep your natural teeth for longer!

Over time teeth atrophy, meaning they decay, break, and crack. When this happens, a root canal may be the best course of action. Root canal therapy saves the natural tooth instead of replacing it with a dental implant. The tooth will appear the same way it did before treatment and might even last forever without more therapy.

  • Keep your natural tooth structure and avoid dental implants
  • Short treatment process
  • Maintain normal biting sensation and mouth structure
  • Essentially painless

Additional Information

Root canal therapy involves gently removing the nerve tissue of a tooth and sealing the exposed canals with a rubber like material. After a root canal the tooth will maintain normal biting power and sensation but will not be able to feel temperature or pain.

Does it hurt?

Contrary to popular belief, root canal therapy is no more painful than getting a regular filling.

Will I need additional work after my root canal?

A tooth that has undergone this treatment may become more brittle and over time may be susceptible to cracking. A dental crown may be required to protect the tooth.

Will my insurance cover my root canal?

The majority of insurance companies cover most of our treatments. For more detail on your coverage please call your service provider.
