Additional Information

The first step of treatment involves numbing the affected area using a local anesthetic. Dr. Gill will then clear any present decay before preparing the area by cleaning any bacteria or debris. If the decay is near a nerve root, we may first protect the root with a liner. The filling material is then put in layer-by-layer and hardened with a special light. Dr. Gill will then shape the tooth to match the rest of your teeth in order to restore natural form and function. Finally, your filling is given a polish and inspected to ensure the highest quality.
