Initially, Dr. Gill will give you a local anesthetic to numb the affected area. Your tooth will then be gently removed by rocking it back and forth to loosen it from the jawbone and ligaments that hold it in place.

No! We give you a local anesthetic before beginning the procedure, no pain will be felt during the treatment.

How long will the procedure take?

The extraction itself typically takes only minutes. However, the preparation before and the cleaning after, varies depending on severity of the situation. An extraction appointment ranges from around 30-60 minutes.

What should I do after the extraction?

Dr. Gill will provide you with the necessary information following treatment. However, a few things to prepare for include: taking painkillers, icing the affected area, relaxing, not smoking, and eating soft foods.
